Booking Conditions:

Hop To It Tours reserves the right to amend, vary or cancel a tour where in its best judgment road, climatic, political or other circumstances deem it to be necessary.

Hop To It Tours cannot guarantee the exact arrival and departure times and is not liable for any failure by you to make connection with any other service or carrier.

Hop To It Tours recommends that you take out comprehensive travel insurance.

You understand and accept that the tour may require physical exertion.

You understand and accept that the tour operates in outside areas and national parks.

You agree to observe the safety and other instructions that the tour guide for the duration of the tour.

Our tours require pro-active participation in remote areas with a degree of personal risk. Travel Insurance is recommended to cover any unforseen circumstances such as loss or damage of personal equipment, evacuation and medical costs.

Hop To It Tours accepts no liability for such events as:

  • Tour cancellations
  • Evacuation costs
  • Personal injury
  • Loss or damage to personal items

Cancellation By You:
The lead name on the booking must give notice to cancel the tour via email and we shall refund the tour cost after deduction of cancellation charges as can be see below.

In order to cover our expected loss from the cancellation of the booking there is a set scale of charges which must be paid by you or any one traveling with you;

  • From the booking date till 30 days prior to the departure date you can receive a full refund.
  • From 30 days until 7 days prior to the departure date, you will lose your deposit.
  • For 7 days until 2 days prior to the departure date, 50% of the package cost is chargeable (we will refund you 50% of the tour)
  • For cancellations made within 2 days prior to the departure date, 100% of the package cost is chargeable.

Instead of cancelling, we can look at changing the date of your tour at no extra charge

Guaranteed Departure Clause (if we have to cancel a tour due to low numbers):

A tour is not guaranteed to depart until it meets the minimum required numbers to depart (shared tour is 3 people). If you are booked on a tour that fails to meet this requirement you will be notified 7 days beforehand of the possibility of a cancelled tour and 48 hours beforehand if the tour has to be cancelled. A full refund will be given if a tour has to be cancelled.

Changes Made By Us Before Travel:

We reserve the rights to do any change in your Tour program due to unexpected conditions. If you do not want to accept a significant change, which we will tell you about before you depart, we will (if we are able to do so) offer you an alternative date for the tour. If you do not wish to take the alternative we offer you, you can receive a full refund. We cannot pay any compensation for any other travel arrangements you have made (such as flights, hotel accommodation etc..) that are outside our responsibility if a tour is cancelled.

Circumstances Beyond Our Control: 

We cannot pay any compensation, reimburse expenses, or cover losses for any amount or otherwise accept responsibility, if as a result of circumstances beyond our control, we have to change your tour after booking, or we, cannot supply your tour, as we had agreed, or you suffer any loss or damage of any description. When we refer to circumstances beyond our control we mean any event that we could not foresee or avoid, even after taking all reasonable care. Such circumstances will usually include, but are not limited to, war, threat of war, airport closures, epidemic, natural or nuclear disaster, terrorist activity, civil unrest, industrial dispute, bad weather.

Your Responsibility:

We want all our customers to have an enjoyable, carefree holiday, but you must remember that you are responsible for your actions and the effect they may have on others. If we, or another person in authority, believe your actions could upset, annoy or disturb other customers or our own staff, or put them in any risk or danger, damage property or you are unfit to travel, we may end your tour and terminate your contract. You and your travelling party will be prevented from using the Travel Arrangements of our service and we will not be liable for any refund, compensation or any other costs you have to pay. Alternatively at our discretion, you may be permitted to continue with your tour but may have additional terms of carriage imposed upon you.

In addition to the above and the effect your actions may have on others, you must particularly also bear in mind that you are responsible for your safety, and that you are responsible for the condition of the property you occupy. We are not responsible for any accidents which occur in or around irresponsible behaviour or for any accidents which occur due to your own personal negligence.

We expect that you will enjoy your holiday with us. We appreciate that you may well drink alcohol as part of your enjoyment. You must, however, do so responsibly and we will have no liability to you for any injury, loss or damage you suffer as a result of your judgment being impaired wholly or partly by alcohol.

We will hold you and the members of your travelling party jointly and individually liable for any damage to the equipment and facilities provided on your tour, together with any legal costs we incur in pursuing a claim. It is your duty to report any breakages, defects or damage to an appropriate person immediately.

If your behavior or the behavior of any members of your travelling party causes any diversion we and/or the carrier will hold you and those members jointly and individually liable for all costs incurred as a result of that diversion. We cannot accept liability for the behavior of others in your accommodation, or for any facilities/services withdrawn as a result of their action.

Private tours:

Private tours booked through the website are initially only an enquiry. We will respond within 24 hours to confirm whether the date is available. Once your itinerary is finalised we will send through payment details. The tour is only 100% confirmed once the full payment is made.

Cancellations after confirmation of private tour by the customer will incur the following:

  • From the booking date till 30 days prior to the departure date you can receive a full refund.
  • From 30 days up until 7 days prior to the departure date, 50% of the package cost is chargeable 
  • For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the departure date, 100% of the package cost is chargeable.

Optional Activities:

​For all optional activities undertaken on tour, Hop To It Tours acts as a booking agent to a reputable third party supplier. Any issues that arise from an optional activity booking are to be taken up with the supplier running the activity. Hop To It Tours will accept no liability from circumstances arising from a booking made with a third party supplier. Such activities are listed in the itinerary as optional choices and Hop To It Tours responsibility is only towards handling the booking as an agent.

Travel insurance:

We recommend all guests have travel insurance and should be taken out at the time of booking prior to tour departure.  Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation.  We also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects.  Before the tour starts you must notify us of your travel insurance carrier, date of policy and policy number.

If You Have A Complaint:

We aim to provide the best tour possible. However, if you are not satisfied please complain as soon as possible to the relevant person (for example, your guide). If you are still not satisfied, you must contact us at the given email address or phone number.
